What maytheir case be? None has spoken about it directly till insinuations started coming up thereabouts of a year or two ago. No one can say anything about that for sure because there are issues (jokes aside) which only the person involved (and no one else) ought to be consulted- if indeed it is a serious matter. Yet as early as 1995 international TV stations had started beaming pictures, silhouettes and what not including multifarious shades disguise could make of ones face (all over the world and radio stations doing what they could. They were expecting someone (with which kinds of beliefs?) to “escape” from Nigeria! That is contradiction number one. Two, as early as such periods people had started raining abuses on contact in such places as mass transit buses and till today “ you have no power and you cannot do anything about this or that” are what they do. That may be contradiction number two. Contradiction number umpteenth – eye witnesses this time around in PH – do not want to talk about it- should really be a non issue. But serious things being insinuated about such an issue seems contradictory. Again this is related to my experience in Owerri . students who were all below seven years at the time whatever did happen did all knew about it. What with churches and schools where the teachers do no more than talk about it! (what?) More contradictions? One, someone held for the good of all – never mind if none knew even over ten years before their issue- being attacked and posited as enemy of all? Two, roots of a call spanning decades when the world never came-a-danger is being touted as the cause for world and individual country problems? Three- out of point?- they are no more wont to show they have power!
