REALLY?

A diatribe? (JOKE ASIDE?) Two days ago(today is 12th June 2007,here in Nigeria) I tuned in to Radio Nigeria,Network News, just in time to hear the news roundup at the end. I heard that a Nigerian,Prof.Ezekiel Izuogu, had invented a power source he termed e-magnetic,which is quite different from that due to Faraday’s principles and “previously unknown to man”. That is surely good news. One of the things that first came to mind was “so it worked”!. However there is one snag.A day or so later,I heard from another source – news over a local radio station – however in vernacular. The news credited Izuogu with origination of the idea.I suppose that is their own interpretation. I must state here quite clearly that the idea originally came from me (or rather more aptly, was originally given to me).The source, therefore, was not acknowledged. I understand the Prof. is a scholar of International standing and can on the spot dismiss the so-called mistake as being that of a communication gap somewhere. It is true that till when I heard the news that I was not so sure the idea will work out. That was partially why I gave it out and was,for sometime worried, trying to get it to those with the interest and the resources to see if it would indeed work.As you can see ,the bases of the idea negates the Firsr and Second Laws of Thermodynamics (or of Energy) – a possibility hitherto thought impossible. True, though, trying the scheme out is no mean feat. I had had the idea for many years until its importance began to dawn on me.It is on records that I contacted even multinational companies and professional associations in Nigeria and abroad. It was also on book manuscripts one (on Nigeria) which was given to a publisher who sent it for reading to a professor in Abuja. It seems news got around (and I wonder why).I did see actions and heard words like “he dashed them a car but didn’t dash us anything” “Dash” is a local parlance. The aim is that I knew it had great importance for the world’s progress (if well utilised and where possible) and I was hoping the proof of possibility could roll in tandem with other plans. My main plan was to publish book(s) and follow up with actions as given utterance, ideas and the like.Obviously such inspired book(s) should be the sort termed vanity press. How do you go to someone to fund books you think (or know?) should help? However,if the idea did work that is fine. But not acknowledging me doesn’t seem okay People feel proud of their discoveries and the like (leave that to them). I even acknowledge the young that I learn from.Nothing to be ashamed about (just in case). Not even a girl who originated(?) the idea of how to wring dry a just-washed item. Can you forget the proud look in that face? Only that in my case I am one who knows (and understands) and do not hide the fact that my ideas and a lot more comes from GOD. That’s the major snag.
