That is why non-issues should have remained so

That is why law, science, sense, power play, whatever are not supposed to rest on mere frivolities if to be taken seriously. Where someone says he or she is sent to do the work of GOD - and anyone can just about say such things- then when people find themselves opposing such the issue of what is/was wrong, who did what or not should always be there. That means things like patriotic people going their normal activities being singled-out for unnamed "crimes" would not be there let alone those on a mission. As for me, personally, if I say I work what I am sent I am not expecting to be believed on that alone, and will surely go on as God provides through circumstances and others even where only future generations may see the point.
