SIGNIFICANCE OF 1993?

1993 alias '93 may be significant prob 'cos the sun is 93(million) miles away- since creation! Yet it is very significant(?) to Nigeria because they nearly went to war on account of June 12 imbroglio. Yet, still, from snippets I gather (and no one can come out clearly on that -what of course they would'nt know about)seems '93 seems even significant to one, more, nay the world because of words spoken - which no one, not even by-standers can vouch for! How does any act seriously on words spoken when even taped statements, when serious cases arise are subject to analysis even with imputs from the maker(s)? Is that why some have been acting as if that is the year the world came to an end? So desperate are some that even when the mileage is mentioned even so-called educated ones among them retort "WHO IS SURE"!
